Does anyone have any information on this item and seller on Ebay?

The description says it is one of three. Any way to verify if this is true.
It may turn out to be out of my price range anyway, but I am tempted.

Only info I have is that Paul Skilleter says::

“Leslie Thurston acquired a number of these models and rebuilt them for
display purposes (they are in the museum in
the JDHT building at Browns Lane).”

Jerry -

At a very minimum I would want to see some significant original
documentation before I bid to show that this is what it claims to be.
In the antique/fine art world, this is referred to as “provenance.”
It would be all too easy to “fake” something like this…

I am reminded of a comment made by an antique dealer friend of mine,
when, at the time of the American Bicentennial (yes, I am that
old…) early American pine furniture was commanding ridiculous
prices: “If all those dry sinks were original, there wouldn’t be a
pine tree left in all of North America!” “Caveat emptor!” should be
your motto here, I think…

Cheers,
