[collectibles] OT: old Aston Martin Workshop Manual available

Does anyone collect Aston Martin stuff?

I have a (I think probably [hopefully] scarce) ‘ASTON MARTIN DB.2 AND
DB2/4 TEMPORARY WORKSHOP MANUAL’ for disposal. Not dated but inside it
says ‘Including the Standard, Vantage and III Litre engines’. David
Brown Tractors (Engineering) Ltd, Automobile Division.

The contents (8.25 x 10.375 inch pages) are roneo duplicated and in
very good unmarked condition (130+ pages). Outer covers are oversized
heavy brown (faded?) paper and thus tatty round edges but reasonably
intact with a few small stains. Held together by two metal studs/clips.

Anyone interested please contact me off list.

Happy New Year to all listers!

Tony,

A group I don’t know well. However, there is an Aston Martin Owner’s Club
(or something similar). AM HQ at Newport Pagnel should be able to give you
a name and phone number then perhaps run an ad in their magazine?

There is a member of the Jaguar Club of Houston who is looking for the
supplement to the XK-140 Service Manual. I don’t believe it needs to be
original; repro is probably okay. If anyone has one they can part with,
please reply with price.

Thanks

Patrick: I can supply a copy of the 140 supplement to the Mk7/120 service
manual
if that is what you are talking about. It is probably about 15 pages.
