[collectibles] re: C-type replica

Thanks for the responses. I never realized such smart people hung around on
this list!

Question # 2: I want to buy a nice model (built) of a C-type, that way I can
look at it for inspiration during the build (which will take several years).

I’ve seen some model C-types offered on eBay, but was not impressed. Who
makes a real nice scale model of the C-type?

Thanks,

Daniel

Oh yes, there are around 180 people here but most are the very
silent type it seems…

If you want real model (and I’m sure others will come up with
more) there was I think a 1/8th scale from Jaguar Model World
back in the mid '90s which first sold for around 600 UK but I
think was actually available for much less. It was very
detailed and was of the '53 Le Mans car.

However, you have to find one. I’ve just got hold of the makers
phone number in the UK so I’ll give it to you off list. He may
or may not be able to help you.
