[collectibles] S Type model

I’ve been passed the information below. However I think the original
poster is looking for a repro, while I would snap up an original Triang.

Re the S type (1960’s) the only diecast one made to my knowledge (40 years of
diecast collecting) was by Triang Spot On, to a scale of 1:42. Long obsolete
it is a very difficult Spot On model to find - particularly in good
condition. When you do find one it will be expensive !

However the good news is that if you find a tatty one - nearly all
ancillary parts have been made as reproductions enabling you to bring a poor
example back to life.

I’ve been passed the information below. However I think the original
poster is looking for a repro, while I would snap up an original Triang.

I suspect he meant ‘model’ not literally a repro of an existing model?

By repro I mean any of the currently available ones. He said replica
himself.

Sorry, that’s what I meant… I think replica = model of original in this
instance?
