[collectibles] Tools

Not sure if this is the right place, but what the heck…

A friend sent me pictures of a tool kit and spares box (?) that he is
trying to verify authenticity of… 1962 E-Type ?

Take a look here:

And let me know if this topic fits with everyones ideas about this list?

Ted

Forwarded this back to the list, hope Patrick is not offended (and since he
is across town he could hunt me down!).

Evidently (according to Tony) there was a configuration change that needed
to be made on the list server so that replies go back to the list instead
of to the original sender, and this has now been done!>X-Sender: mcload@mail.ev1.net

Ted: I’ve never seen a tool box like that, and I doubt its originality,
but I’ve been wrong before. It looks very nice though. The tool roll looks
authentic and is correct for Series 1 & 2 E-types, though few of the
actual rolls have survived; they are usually repros (same with jack bags).
These rolls are shown in parts manual.

No problem Ted, I’m cool. But since I’m part of the list, it will just get
re-sent to me. That’s okay; nothing wrong with my delete button!
By the way folks, check out the story of my E-Type’s restoration on my web
site:
