[collectibles] Turquoise XJR Diamond Jubilee Series model

Hi list,

Does anyone know where to source Jaguar Diamond Jubilee Series
models? I narrowly missed an auction for a Turquoise XJR 1:43 in
metal. Having one of these ultra rare cats in the USA, I want
something to adorn my desk of my one true love.

Please e-mail me at sunny_garofalo@hotmail.com or reply to the
thread if you have any additional information.

Corgi, Maisto, etc do not make Turquoise X300 models so I will be
searching for a long time, I have a feeling… sigh.

Thanks in advance!

If this is the model I am thinking about it is not really a very
good model, the front end is too low and too long. I had one in my
collection and sold it as it was not up to my standards. Although
none are offered in the rare turquoise color you might look for an
Autoart model of the X300 which was in 1:43 and offered as an XJ8
or XJR in three color each. XJ8 in dark blue, maroon, and gold,
and the XJR in silver, white and black as I recall. These should
still be available as they are still in production I believe. Try
E Bay or Google Autoart Models. Their USA distributor is in
Cerritos California and goes by the Gateway Global name.–

Indeed; the AutoArt models are fantastic! I have one because it
very closely resembles my former 2000 Vanden Plas. Just picked it
up at the local Jaguar dealer in Portland by chance. But a very
impressive and well detailed model. Not available in the Emerald
Green; or your teal; but is a great representation.–
