In the Northwest, we (at least I), judge on the following premise: all
vehicles should have the bracket for a front license plate as newly
delivered, (except for Class 15 or Class 16, when noted on the deductions
statement form). In addition, where State laws require a front license plate
to be displayed, the plate should also be attached to the bracket. This is
particularly painful for E-Type owners for obvious reasons, therefore I
would be interested in any other judge’s experience of the British ‘bonnet
stick-on’ variety of license numbers having been accepted by a US State
Licensing body. I seem to recall that there have been some interesting
interpretations of the law, not to mention, precedents in this area!
