[concours] Distorted JCNA National Placings?

Mark Stephenson writes:

Excellent work, Steve. I anxiously await your graphs of average scores by
concours and individual scores by the same cars at different shows. Perhaps
shows and cars should remain nameless, Show A, B, C… and Car 1, 2, 3…

I have said more than I want to on THIS particular failure of the JCNA
National Program. Besides, two of the outlier show results have not been
reported yet on the JCNA site. In one case, the show hasn’t been held yet.

A while back, before this year’s AGM, I suggested to Dick Cavicke that one
way that JCNA could avoid the problem of different clubs judging to
different standards (an unavoidable occurrence) was to adopt a method of
establishing champions more like that used in the JCNA Rally program.
You’ll have to talk to Dick - or Jerry Nell. I ain’t biting on THAT one! My
name is already dirt amongst the JCNA powers that be.
