[concours] Grease gun For 61 E type

Is the correct grease gun for the 61 E type… Tacalemit 3021 Blue
dot or the 3020 no dot. I bought a kit and I know it is not
complete how many socket spanners is suppose to be there one or
three, also what is the size of the allen wrench. regards Mark–

The greasegun for the series 1 E-type is the Tecalemit 3020, not
the 3021. There should be a wrap around instruction sheet with the
tool as well. Thyis should have red instructions printed on the off-
white paper. Some later sheets were blue although red is most
appropriate.

There were four box spanners in the kit - a 7’’ long plug and
cylinder head spanner marked 3/4AF and 1/2BSF as well as a set of
three AF box spanners (7/16x1/2, 9/16x5/8 ans 3/4x7/8) in early
sets these might be marked in the center, and the smallest of the
three 5’’ long as seen in XK kits. Later ones were marked on the
ends with the smallest spanner measuring the ‘full’ 6’’ in length.
There’s more arcana with this stuff but that’s the gist of it.–
