[concours] Tools for 61 E type

I have tools and I am wondering if the 61 E 4’’ adjustable
wrench had one marked Garrington or one Marked Jaguar. I have
both and want to use the correct on for my car.–

My original 3.8 adjustable wrench is marked Garrington on one side and
Jaguar on the other. From the research that Steve Kennedy did years
ago he lists either Garrington, Bacho or Gedor as the manufacturers. I
can send you a copy of his work in PDF if you like. Let me know off
list.

Have you checked the JCNA Jaguar Tool and Tool Kits Seminar document that is
available through the JCNA website Shoppe?

In reply to a message from Mark Jagawar sent Wed 17 Jul 2013:

For a '61 E-type the adjustable spanner should be a
Garrington, either the early type with the hole in the handle
or the more recently recently introduced type with the solid
‘raised bar’ handle. Both would be marked Jaguar. Gedores and
then Bahcos followed later.–
