Conversion to decent brake booster

the vac line just hooks up to a barbed connector screwed into the back of the inlet manifold, which I believe came off an early e-type, but I could be wrong there…

Got it… the Mk 10 manifold has that port as well but I’m guessing for that car and also for the XJ6 I’m using it in there is a HVAC vacuum connection to it - not sure if you need that in a Mk2.

Last question - is there anything else Tee’d off the port or are you using it specifically for the PCV system purpose?
I was thinking of using that port as well but wasn’t sure if it would be an issue if I Tee’d into it.

Thanks again,
~Mike

Don’t know what the port was originally used for, but nothing is teed off from it and it only runs to the booster.

Okay - Thanks again for all the info!

If you run out of petrol while booming along or otherwise the engine dies you WANT brakes you won’t w/o a reserve, I’m adding one to my toy hauler!
