Convertible top fluid

is there a better fluid to use then the one from Green Germany…

“is there a better fluid to use than the one from Green Germany…”

It’s your car, use whatever you want.
The first fluid the Jaguar Engineers chose (UNIVIS) was a FAIL. The solvent evaporated and left a gummy mess.
The Pentosin CHF11S has been in service since 2000 and it has performed well.

Why are you are not satisfied with the performance of the “than the one from Green Germany”???

Is it difficult to find???
Is it too expensive???

I guess any Hydraulic fluid can be used??? I live in a rural area and have a Ford Tractor that uses 5 gallons of hydraulic fluid for the gearbox/PTO and lift cylinders so I guess I could get bulk fluid cheaper.

A one liter can should last a long time unless you have a leak.
