Many years ago, I installed a top on a friends S2. It was purchased from topsonline.com. The first one we got did not fit properly. We discovered this while test-fitting, before actually installing it. We called topsonline, and they were REALLY helpful. Turns out, they had 5 different patterns for E-Types, based on many years of providing them to customers. They had us take some simple measurements on the car, and they sent a new top that fit absolutely perfectly. A good 15 years later, that top still looks great, and fits perfectly. If I had it to do over, I’d go back to topsonline.com.
