As I said I already have a XJ12C5.3 engine and that is what I would be using. Was just responding to the question whether it was an injected or carb engine.

The 6 cylinder engine didn’t get FI until after the demise of the coupe.
Interesting. I guess that means the V12 got EFI some time before the XK engine.
I think the V12 got F.I. in 1975
The XK engines were F.I. in 1978, for USA cars at least

Yep, sounds like the tanks will be different! Any way to fake a return line with the XJ6C tanks? Like perhaps come in at a vent connection?
