Copper Washer reuse?

I am starting to put a S1 4.2 Etype motor together. There are a number of short 1/2" dia X 3/8" long bolts used for sealing various oil galleries. They use copper washers for sealing. I assume that I should buy new ones. Or can I anneal and reuse them?

Economics is a matter of preference. Necessity is the mother of invention.
I faced the same question with an unusual size copper washer on a brake master cylinder, couldn’t find a replacement. I annealed it with a propane torch, hand polished it, and it worked fine.
