Flicking through a NZ magazine called The Shed. There is a tempero D Type in progress being fitted with a v12 from a Japanese Century which was a big luxury sedan.
No photos of the engine but I imagine it will be a tight fit.

I’ve seen the Centurys when in Tokyo, but never knew they were a V12. I assume for the replica they’re significantly modifying the engine, as it doesn’t seem particularly sporty in stock form at 276HP.

where does 2200 lbs come from… not likely… my special with a vi2 weighs that and is super seven style…LOL…
The appeal of the Toyo V12 evades me.

I’d be a bit frightened about spares…
276 hp in 3000 pounds (~E Type weight) would be no slouch.
