Added a battery disconnect switch to my 91 Jag XJ40. After a couple of weeks, started the car, but now none of my instrument gauges are working. No gas, temp, battery or tach working.
Any thoughts or suggestions? Gauges always worked in the past. Just never had the battery disconnected longer than it took to replace the battery.

Blown fuse maybe? #9 in the center console fuse box (3 amp) is for the instrument pack on my '94, perhaps your '91 is the same.
I have heard of some that the battery makes contact with the hood, probably a fuse as you did not say if anything else works.
Disconnected the battery again, waited 10 seconds to allow computer to reset and reconnected battery cable.
Everything works again. Just had to think about why the fault occurred originally.
