Diff output bearing maximum allowable play

Just had a WoF fail with the XJR on the rear wheels (excessive 6/12 o’clock movement) I checked the hub bearings and could not determine any play so went back to the testing station and went under the car when they went to check it.
Finally managed to convince them that the play was not in the hubs but in the output shaft.
Checking the workshop manual there is a .15mm allowance for play, would anybody like to have a go at working out how much that is going to translate into movement at the tyre? I’m going to try to get a dial indicator onto the diff housing tomorrow.
