My XJ12 will need new tyres soon, and while I am at it, I would like get the wheels powder coated. Unfortunately the wheels have been reconditioned unprofessionally by the previous owner. Looks like one wheel is beyond repair. So I thought: no problem, I can use the spare. Only to discover they are different. Both of them are 16" x 8", but the area just arround the hub cap is differen. The spare has a smooth radius like this:
, the other 4 have a sharp edge like this:
Could that be a differece between the standard and the diamond turned wheel?
