…I was inspecting the distributor and took the cover off …I noticed that the post that encloses it in blue … does not have the metal or brass plate like the other posts … this is normal … ?? or it fell …
I suppose it must have a metal plate to make contact with the spark plugs … !!!

Are you sure it’s not brass? It looks like it may just have black overspray on it… Give it a scratch with a screwdriver…
iI’ll do it tomorrow … and scratch a bit … I could be wrong … I’ll check it again … very weird … thanks …
What he said. Looks like it’s all moulded over with plastic - facing of the post is still covered. If the car does not have a regular miss the spark must be punching through the plastic. Paul.
