When looking at the parts book, many parts are listed as thru serial #xxxxxxxx
It’s simple for me, knowing my serial number, to look up part numbers, but it seems to me it might be useful to know the beginning or ending serial number for each model year (yes, I do realize that not all part alterations happen at the beginning of a model year).
Anyway, might be a good addition to Kirby’s book so that when there are variations on a part, one could determine in what model year the change took place (might be useful when buying used parts by phone or internet and the donor car serial is not known).
