DPP1050 Security Electronic Control Module

Hi everyone,

I have a facelift 94 XJS 4.0. The previous owner told me that some water leaked into the DPP1050 Security Electronic Control Module a few years ago. The car works without a problem but the remote controls do not work. I’m planning to buy a used DPP1050 in order to make the remotes work but couldn’t find how to connect the remotes to the new module. It is told a video for programming was shared in the forum, however i found that video and it is not working anymore. Anynone has this video or can inform me how to program the remotes of a 94 XJS? Could you please help me on this issue?

Thank you in advance,
Berkay

Possible, but not as easy as they show in the video. If the first time does not work, try again:

Good luck.

I cannot find the momentary contact switch in my car. Does every XJS have this switch?

No. Most do not, but all have the wires for it. You just have to find them (under the armrest bin)

You can either find a switch for the harness socket, or cut it off and just tap them together.
