thinking i have very old gas im wondering about draining the gas tank/tanks? any advice on that available.
Disconnect the outlet pipe from the tank or fuel filter and use the pump to get it out.
Just don’t let the pump run dry.
Once you have most of the old stuff out, fill up with fresh. The residue of old fuel will soon mix and go through the engine.
well that’s a lot smarter than draining. i am not used to thinking electric pump, my other jag is an E with mechanical pump. thank you. i guess the filter will catch the residue;)
