These “concealed” alternators state that no wiring changes are needed…My understanding is that going from a Gen to an Alt requires several wiring changes…what gives?

I thought most E types with generators were positive ground.
Here is the negative ground instructions:
I just converted my 65 Healey 3000 with one of these. They come in both pos. and neg. ground. You can keep the original wiring if used in conjunction with a dummy regulator sold by the usuals, Moss for sure. The dummy regulator hooks up verbatim and inside all the wire jumping is done for you since the alternator has an internal regulator, it keeps the stock look too. Great mod and total drop-in for the Healey so I’d assume the same for the E Type.
