[E-Type] 3.8L Alternator Conversion Bracket

Just got done making a ‘‘billet’’ 3.8L Alternator bracket, to
replace the ‘‘store-bought’’ one I’ve had on there for 10 years,
that’s broken on-the-road three times now. I made this one
for a (ubiquitous and cheap) Delco alternator, but I also plan
to make them for the Hitachis, and perhaps Bosch as well. I’ll
post a picture as soon as its approved.–

And to you I’ll say, just like the Oklahoman said to the
Texan, after said Texan said, ‘‘That lil ol’ state of yours
is so puny, we could build a gold [billet] fence around it!’’

Really? I might just buy it!>;-)

Perhaps a bit over-designed, but it won’t ever break!–

Lynn,

Thinking about making them for 4.2s, as well - the mounting
points are completely different.–

Just think of the market opportunities for a ‘‘billet’’ SII
AC/alternator replacement!>;-)

I guess it was cold in the garage that morning Ray? I can see your
engine’s nipples standing out.

Sorry, been a long day and I have a mind like a Cairo sewer
