I wonder if those springs are for the 2+2?

Hi Folks,
When we restored my rear suspension and re-geared to a 3.07 (love it!), we
used new springs and boge shocks from a well known NE US vendor, my ride
height was a bit less than 1 inch too high. The vendor has 1 spring part
number for all 6 cylinder e-types.

Once I removed the springs/shocks I measured the new vs original springs:
The new springs were the same free length (10.5 inches), but of 12 mm wire
vs 11mm for original, 3 and 7/16" diameter vs 3 and 5/16’ diameter for
original, and had 1/2 more coil turn than original.
I reinstalled the original springs without the 3/8" spacers at the top, but
with the dust shields, and the ride height came in SPOT ON at 1 9/16’
difference (mid laden) between the pivot points.
My spring compressor was a quarter sheet of 3/4" plywood with 3 holes for
some 5/16 allthread rod under my floor jack, with a 8" square piece of 3/4
ply with 3 holes and a 2 7/8" hole in the center to remove the
collets…worked like a charm.
