[E-Type] A Thank you. Seized Radius Arm Mountings

Thanks to all who offered a helping line?
I did try the various solutions put forward with no avail (here in
UK the ladys fingers are refered to as Heel Tow bar.)
In the end I have drilled out the rubber from the mounting. I was
still unable to free the cup so I put a bearing puller on it and
after a large amount of pressure and I do mean a large amount they
did come off. I do not believe they would have come off any other
way.
Not what I wanted but its done now.
A point of interest
I had sprayed the under side of the body including the domes for
the radius arms when the car was rebuilt. On inspection there is
paint adhering to the inside of the cup! Now could this have been
the trouble, should I have left the domes bare metal and covered in
grease on reassembly?
The answer to this may be helpful to anyone rebuilding in the
future.
Once again thank you to all

Hi
I just read you post. Your issues there were very similir to mine,
the first time I took them part, i.e about the paint. I lathered
mine with anti-seize in hopes the next time (25 years), it will be
easier.
Good Luck there !–

Bill : IMHO they are better painted because it reduces the rusting
tendency . However, I think it is essential to coat the metal
inside of the rubber mounting with copperslip or the like , which
at least gives you a chance of later removal by reducing corrosion–
