[E-Type] Alfa-Romeo Returning To The US?

Fiat has just acquired (for no cash!) 35% of Chrysler from
Cerberus. Fiats motivation is largely to get access to Chryslers
dealer network, so they can re-introduce Alfa-Romeo to the US
market.–

It would probably be easier to reintroduce the Fiat, since they share so many parts with Ferarri.

Chuck are you there?

(no response yet)

I’m glad I’m so far away that I will not be an easy target.

Although I gotta admit when I saw a few years ago the Alfa
prototypes at Villa d’Este (that year they still had a
public vote the the best prototype, the 8C spider won, I
woted for the race bred coup) I was also almost on my
knees, they looked good!!!

But would I give my E in exchange for one? Monetarily I
should, but mentally I dont’ think so!

Hello, Chuck, are you still out there?

I would however, fall on and flatten him, since I

I do, Bob, and here’s why (syllogistically):

-The XKE is one of the MOST beautiful cars ever;

smart as a eucalyptus tree, just so koalas can eat-only a
woman can have that kind of eye to detail (or, at least,

Works for me! Only men get so stupid as to make threats in
order to own beauty.

I just googled it to see what all the fuss was about. Tis
a nice looking car but would a 6’3’’ 200lbs frame fit in

should own one Alfa in their life. Trouble is he says, you
have to cart around a mechanic to make sure you get where
your going. Sound a bit like a jag that I own.

I’d have to be pretty close. (The Remington is pretty, but
not very accurate, something like the woman who butchered

Chuck,

Is this a joke inside a joke…?
Your URL looks like one of those new Pontiac Solstice/

This is the 8C to die/kill/trade for:

You betcha (Alaska talk) I’d trade all my cars for THAT 8C.

BTW, that was Aretha singing ‘‘My Country Tis of Thee’’
(America) (God Save the King/Queen). Which I judge was an
incredible beautiful rendition and furthered the melting pot
concept of how the United States developed its own music.
This unique American music has become: Jazz, Rock, Gospel
Blues, etc.

Ah, another notch in my music lesson career- coming from a
retired music professor.

Best wishes,

Hehehe…mighta been yet another case of the Internets, not
conveying a ‘’:)‘’ when it was meant…my bad, Ian!

As for the SPICA, it was only really dreaded if it wasn’t serviced
properly, i.e., the wee l’il oil filter in it was changed regularly.

My experience with them was, if serviced properly, along with the
engine, they were quite robust and dead reliable.

Wes Ingraham is the guru on them and rebuilds are not terribly
expensive (THAT being a relative statement!).–
