Sorry People,
I forgot to tell you that it is only the front brakes
holding on

Hi ZZR ( we do use names here! ), If the drag is only at the
front please check your flex hoses ( old lines have rubber
degradation internally which you can’t see from the
outside), and if old consider a replacement…however, it
would be a bit surprising if Both lines were blocked
simultaneously?. Why not go to the brown tab…‘‘Edit your
Profile’’ and setup your profile to show the exact car you
have, your name, and also location !–

Hi All,
Just to let you know that the brake drag problem is solved.
I ordered a new master cylinder from SNG and installed it
today, did 70km and all was well. I presume it was the
reaction valve rather than the actual master cylinder, any
way all those who gave me information, thank you. Merry
Christmas & Happy New Year.

In reply to a message from Rolly sent Sat 6 Dec 2014:

In which case it should have been dragging rear as well as
front, although the fronts are more obvious for various
reasons. The master cylinder/reaction valve cannot
differentiate front from rear.

As is Pete, so am I wondering !!! If in fact it was the rv,
then all brakes were dragging, then we must ask about the
rears. If you didn’t notice them dragging too, then the
question is why not? Are they in fact working?–
