The brake switch has a 1/8’’ NPT male thread -pretty universal.
I recently changed mine without needing to bleed the brakes.
Don’t know about later cars but on the S1, the switch screws
into the top of the brass tee, making the job quite easy.–
The original message included these comments:
- Is the brake light switch screwed into a junction block for the
brake hydraulics on the firewall?- If I remove this switch, will I let air into the system so that
it needs to be bled?
