If you are not doing anything the weekend of September 19-20-21 and would
like to exercise the E-type on the roads of New England, why not drive on up
to Stowe, Vermont and take part in the 13th annual British Invasion weekend?
Info can be found here: www.britishinvasion.com
Jaguar is the featured marque this year and there will be plenty of E-types
on hand. We are also organizing a “show within a show” with a JCNA concours
and slalom happening at the same time.
The deadline for registration has passed but if you would like to sign up
just drop me an email and I’ll make the arrangements. Alternatively, the
parking lot usually sports as many British cars as the show field, so come
on up and spectate!
If you are looking for lodging (always hard to find in Stowe) try the
Commodores Inn at 1-800-44-STOWE. Make sure you mention that you are part of
the “Jaguar Club”.

Thanks for the reminder, I will be there, but without the car, the
brakes are in pieces all over the garage. We will be taking the
ferry over from NY on Saturday.–

…we’ll be driving the E-Type up to Stowe that Saturday
morning for the BI & JOA concours, leaving the Sunapee NH
area and arriving in Stowe in apx 2 hours. We’re not yet
sure what time we’re leaving but will firm that up later. If
anyone is coming up through the area from the south, we’ll
be getting on Route 89 North at exit 12A. I think a few
other local Jaguar folks will be joining us for a mini
convoy. If anyone else is heading up, please join in. Our
car is ascot fawn(light tan).
Hope to see you en route,

Anybody who has not done Stowe, I would recommend it as
well. 4 of us (3 MG’s and our E-type) made the trip last
year. Show combined w/ week long vacation (2 condos).
Northern VT in Sept. & Britsh cars - what could be better?
1500 miles on the cars - 600 up and back + 300 while there
for the week. Found that you cannot eat your way through
Stowe in one week. One of the best vacations ever. Even a
3rd place award in Series II class! Mainly for the miles
traveled, I think.
Can’t make it this year – that work ‘‘thing’’ that pays the
bills…–
