[E-Type] Chrome Trim around license plate surround

I can’t seem to find a part number for the shiny bit on the
rear that surrounds the license plate area. Could someone
please help with part # and source.

RHS = BD19092/1
LHS = BD19092/2

Martin Robey make them. The RH one doesn’t match the profile
of the car so needs to be reworked and then re-chromed.

They don’t. And while we’re on the subject I’ve never heard why
that’s the case. Anybody know?

Resurrecting this old post. I went to the Carolina Jag Club concours last weekend and noted that some of the Eypes have the chrome trim around the number plate opening and some don’t. Is the answer still that coupes don’t have it? And yes, I would be curious as to why?

PS Kudos to our new platform that coaches me towards relevant posts when I start a new topic. Worked very well in this case. Nice!
