Where the flex hose joins the rigid line coming off the
slave cylinder, there is a small bracket that bolts to
something to hold that line in place. Can anyone tell me
where it locates?
Here’s another description: Off the slave cylinder is an
8-inch steel line. That line connects to a 9-inch hose that
goes up to the steel line that comes along the firewall from
the master cylinder. The bracket is in the connection of
those 8- and 9-inch lines. The bracket is about 2’’ long and
has about a 20-degree twist in it, with a 14/28 X 1’’ bolt
that fastens to something to hold the line in place. Is
there a bracket to fasten it to the frame rails or some
other connector point?

Looks like that bracket at the base is wrapped around the
rail. Hope it helps–

Bruce, that bracket attaches and supports the clutch pipe and flex
hose. It is fit to the top of the block at the rear where the
support brackets for the bell housing also attach. Place this
bracket on the block and then push the bolt thru and fit the angled
support bracket for the clutch onto this bolt. Hope this helps.

Allen, I am going now to follow your directions Thanks
very much, in anticipation of another detail being resolved.
FWIW here is the link to pics of that bracket.
