Likely hot down there today eh, Doug? I always feel sorry
for the pipers, especially the drummer, he’d be
overheating in 30 degree weather!

First year I’ve missed it since about 1993, bummer!

My son and I got there about 10 AM- a comfortable 72 degrees
(F) at that time. The Bagpipe band was in rare form and
played quite a bit. I always have fun looking at all the
British Steel, and having the motorcycles included in the
festivities just adds to the event. Everything from
concourse quality vehicles to ratty drivers- I love it! You
need to make plans for next year!–

You guys are doing much better than me. Went to the largest 1 day car
show in the state yesterday, not British but open to all, 1 Jag, 3
Healeys, 3 MGs. I’m guessing 500 cars in total but typical is about
800 at this show. Imports and especially the British always seem not
well represented at these open car shows, hate that.
