[E-Type] Crossover pipe

Okay, I have finally decided to get rid of my ZS dual carbs and upgrade to
the triple SU’s, but with the new manifold, what do you do with the big
aluminum crossover , there is no point of connection on a triple manifold?

Just remove it and the aluminum base on top of the exhaust manifold
that it connects to. That whole setup is pretty inert anyhow and
the gizmo on top of the exhaust manifold is nothing more than a
heat transfer point – nothing goes into the manifold.

I meant to mention that there is some wierd looking contortions in
the iron on top of the rear exhaust manifold to support the gas-
mixture pre-heat gizmo. There is nothing you can do about this and
if it looks unappealing to you, just find a rear manifold from any
earlier car. It will bolt right up.
