In reply to a message from Bob sent Wed 7 Sep 2011:

Add some vacuum and hydraulic lines, plus some underdash
hardura, wiper arms and clutch brake reservoir bracketry and
you are probably there.

I can’t remember if your ign switch is on the steering col’
if so it can end up on the ‘‘wrong’’ side unless you change
the upper col’

Whilst not a part don’t forget to change the position of the
crank on the back of the wiper motor.

Also, the dashboard wiring loom will be different, the
speedo cable is different, the throttle linkage and gas
pedal assembly are different, the dashboard indicator strip
(because the switch’s position will be reversed), under-dash
aluminum panels etc. etc.–

In reply to a message from Clive Wilkinson sent Wed 7 Sep 2011:

I don’t know if LHD versions accelerator pedals are suspended
or fitted to the floor. If floor mounted then both front
carpets as well

I am sure if people think long and hard enough more will
become apparent.

In reply to a message from 600 sent Thu 8 Sep 2011:

Pat,
This thread could run and run. If the car in question has the seat
belt warning system and you still want to use it in rhd guise, then
you’ll want to swap/rewire the passenger and driver seat and
seatbelt connections as they perform subtly different functions.

If this runs to April 1st next, remember to swap over the left and
right indicator wiring front and rear…

kind regards

I generally save all that trouble and just swap the bulbs
over from side to side.–
