[E-Type] Differential ID

I was wondering if my car has a positraction differential.
The cars VIN is 1R25643. The metal tags on the rear end are
46/13 and BP-L. As always, any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Rick–

All E-types came with positraction. So, if the diff hasn’t been
swapped out over the years, yours is positraction.–

Rick

Ray answered your posi-traction question, and I thought he’d address the numbers on the metal tag.

Those numbers are the tooth count on the ring gear and pinion gear respectively. Dividing 46 by 13 gives you the final drive ratio: 3.54:1.

The BP-L tag gives it away: British Powr-Lok.
