I see this 1962 e-type aluminium low Drag Coupe listed on e-bay,and
in the photo of the motor the spark wires connect to a connection
on the fire wall. My QUESTION is does any one know how this spark
plug wireing system works? How does it connect to the distributor?

I’ve a similar setup on my 4.2, it uses a Ford EDIS6 unit and
matching coil, and a Megajolt unit to control advance, so you get a
fully mappable 3d ignition system.
Take a look at autosport labs for more detail.–
