Steve,

Probably, but there have been dimension problems with these
in the past. If you buy one, check carefully to see that
the lengths and connecting forks are identical. Don’t
throw away your old one! Also, if the old one worked and is
is not worn, no need to replace it. It’s not that hard to re
replace this part with the IRS in place, FWIW

I had quite a struggle removing the IRS and in the process ruined
a perfectly good cable. I probably still have it as it did seem to
have some special fitments , which is why I asked if the new ones
were the same…
and yes it looked like a very good cable/ original and doubtfull
if the new ones are as good.–

This is normally not a difficult job.

There is a fair bit of adjustment available on the threaded
collar that attaches to the actuating arm.

I would firstly ensure that the threads run freely,
particularly if you had the bits zinc plated.

If it appears that the replacement is too short you can rotate
the female threaded section on the arm 180 degrees which gives
you a little more.

If the cable is too long you can shorten it if you have access
to an appropriate crimper. I have in the past made a spacer,
as I do not. Cut a 1/2’’ piece of 6mm stainless pipe. Slit it
longitudinally. Slide this over the end of the cable and crush
it in place before the existing round crimped end. Use a pair
of pliers.–
