Cut the belt and drive on. A lot of people ruin the pump as the car
drives rather well without power steering. The ratio is the same
as the manual cars so without the power, it will drive like a non
assist car which is not bad. Do cut the belt as the pump is rather
rare and almost impossible to build if you weld up the insides by
running without fluid.–

don’t see much choice. That is, unless someone has an alternate
suggestion or knows someone in the Chicago- Milwaukee area who
has the proper equipment and tools to fix this. Just to make
life even more interesting I only have 1 1/2 hours before I
need to check out of the hotel.
