Very cool gift.
My fiance bought me a full leather seat cover kit for my MGB GT
(front and rear) for my birthday after we had only been dating for
a year…I knew she was a keeper right then.
After smashing my piggy-bank to smithereens for her engagement
ring, she has told me that she is going to buy me a 5-speed for my
E-type one of these days…I kinda think she’s serious!–

Would any of these wonderful women happen to have sisters or
girlfriends between, say… 37 and 44?

Hey, congrats on picking the right girl! I feel pretty
lucky too as my wife just gave me an unlimited time
extension for my two occupied parking spaces in the garage.
You see in 2001 I promised ‘‘just a few years honey and I’ll
move em to another location’’. Yeah, right! I think she
secretly likes seeing those two beautiful old girls in the
garage.

No, sorry, my fiance’s sister is only 23…sounds like she might
be a bit young for you.
Plus, she’s in medical school, so you’d be inheriting A LOT of
debt, and still buying your own car parts…I think I picked the
right sister!!–

Nicely Done Rob.
You could say my wife bought me wheels for my wedding present.
Of course attached to that was the 1965 Series 1 FHC!
Her alterior motive was so she had something nice to go to
the wedding in, yet the dress never fit in the car, so we
had to borrow a mates car and the bridesmaids drove it.–

Hey Guys,
Since we’re talking about our wives, or, shall I say ‘‘ex’’ wife.
Thirty years ago, my then, wife gave me the house, the yorkie, and
the Etype as part of the divorce settlement. What a Christmas
present that year. I think I still love her!–

… you all surely know the joke about the man who wants to buy a
Mattel Barbie puppet kit and is shocked why ‘‘Divorce Barbie’’ is the
most expensive kit in the store ? Well,it’s because Barbie comes
together with Ken’s house, Ken’s Ferrari, Ken’s horses…
