[E-Type] Ideal Tire Pressure for 68 FHC Street driving

Looking for general consensus for ideal tire pressure on 68 FHC
Coupe. Car is used for street driving, no racing, etc. Car is

Ummmmm… depends on the type/size of tire. Also, highway driving a pound or two less than street driving since highway develops more heat over time.

The factory uses 32 psi front and rear for radials on the
street, and that’s what I have always used. It works fine,
and a few psi difference does not make that much difference
except when you are using the car’s performance, i.e., not
on the street.

Mine are maintaned at 32 psi (185 Vreds on standard 5’’ rim).
When I’m touring with luggage and driving along France’s
autoroutes I take it up to 34. Higher pressure copes with
extra weight and reduces flexing and heat build up at higher
speeds.–

And Jaguar recommended 40 psi for speeds over 125 MPH. So a
sliding scale up to that makes sense.
