[E-Type] Jaguar bolts, fasteners, screws, etc

I need some help in sorting through the mountain of parts that I got
with my 66 OTS basket case. The car was completely taken apart by a
previous owner. I am in the process of sorting throught the bolts and
washers many of which are reuseable if I can figure out where they go.

I have Jaguar Publication No. J. 37, “Spare Parts Catalogue for Jaguar
4.2 ‘E’ Type” which includes exploded diagrams labeled with part #s such
as “C.2325 Stud, Front timing Cover, Fixing Cylinder Head”, or
“UFB,131/15R, Bolt, Securing Front Timing Cover and alternator shield
to cylinder block”, and so on.

Is there a table of Jaguar fasteners that cross links Jaguar part #s to
fastener dimensions?

Ask and ye shall receive! Go to http://www.xke-lovers.com/download.htm
and download the bolts file in excel format. It is a very complete
chart put together by Richard Liggitt for translating Jaguar harware
part numbers into measurable sizes and types.

I found in invaluable in sorting the coffee cans of harware I got with
my “kit car”.

George,

Thanks for the tip. There is also some fastener info in the
“Subframe.pdf” file that Steve Kemp put together.

Thanks to Richard Liggitt and Steve Kemp for the work that they did
in putting the files together.

I used both files in reassembling the front of my car. Again, thanks to
both people for taking the time to create these files. You don’t know
how valuable they were! It’s a bear trying to re-assemble one of these
cars from the service literature alone if you don’t have an example to
go by.
