[E-Type] Jaguar Spares day at Farnham (rather than Stoneleigh)?

Thanks for the replies about Stoneleigh.
I see that there’s another ‘‘major’’ Jaguar jumble in
February @ Farnham.

I can’t afford to go to the UK twice.

If you could only attend one, which would you attend?

BTW, my main purpose is to bring home some of E-type parts
(new seat foam/pads, visor kit, partial carpet set, and
some mechanical bits and a set of Whitworth/BA tools for my
Alpine).

Thanks in advance.

In reply to a message from John Feng sent Thu 3 Dec 2009:

Dear John,
Go to Stoneleigh.

The Farnham event, as Pat pointed out, was utterly dismal last time
round. There were no more than 30 stallholders and if you were to
have whispered, everyone would have overheard you. If it hadn’t
been local (within cycling distance for me), I wouldn’t have gone.
Stoneleigh, on a bad day, is at least fifteen times the size.

kind regards

John : for these stock items, you are far better to buy direct from
usual suppliers. Barratt’s, David Manners, Hutson’s , all will ship
without any problems . Stoneleigh is really only any good if you
are searching for something rare, and then, as others have said ,
the chances of finding it are remote these days. To put it in
context, when we go , in a group looking for E type and XK bits, we
do the whole thing within 3 hours, and usually come away with some,
but by no means all, the things we went for–
