Actually there is no way for spam to get to the lists. It all get’s bounced to me instead. Do you need any? I have plenty!

5_speeds is Paul of 5 speed transmission fame, the manufacture of a very nice drop in 5 speed for e-types and a frequent list contributor.

I must agree however that the post was inappropriate for this forum. First off, our area of discussion is supposed to be e-type centric and I allow it to wander as long as it’s car related and somehow relevant to owning or restoring an e-type.

Second, Jag-Lovers isn’t and never will be an activist site supporting causes. We simply don’t have the time nor the manpower to do so. And it poses certain liability issues that we wish to avoid.

So please, everybody, no matter how noble the cause, don’t promote it here or at least check with me or one of the other list admins before posting.

Know what, George – I think you are to be commended for your
professionalism and gracious attitude, for the blending of them, and for you
high patience threshold. I never see (read of) you berating anyone, beating
up on anyone, or being pompous. this is a good list, has been a big-time
benefit to me in many ways and instances, is fun and informative, and
sometimes you need to be told so.
