[E-Type] Major accomplishment - IRS installed!

E-Type

Finally! After sitting on jack stands for 10 years, my E-Type is
off jack stands and sitting on 4 wheels! Tonight my youger son
and I installed my newly rebuilt IRS in the car and I finally was
able to put it on four wheels and get it off the jack stands! What
a thrill is is to be able to roll my car in and out of the garage!

Getting the IRS ready to lift into the car:

Almost all bolted in!:

Using a bottle jack to ‘‘tip’’ the IRS so I could get all the bolts
in:

IRS is now installed (Except the Radius Arms):

On four wheels:

The wheels will, of course be replaced with new Dayton wheels and
Michelin Redline tires eventually!

Cy, what is all that STUFF around you car?! That is such a strange sight…
it that what “space” looks like?

IRS looks really nice, and of course the car color is the best. (Ironically,
it’s the same as mine)

My next step at this point is to get all the brake stuff
installed. This means running new SS lines all around and fitting
rebuilt Master Cyl, etc.
