[E-Type] map light pic

Does anyone have a picture of the map light area?
Mine is missing and would like put it back in.

No picts but mine was missing as well. The remnants of the two
rivets were still there. I wouldn’t drill them out since I feared
going right through the dash pad. If you can’t re-rivet it back, I
just used some epoxy and glued the thing back on. It should last
another 50 years.–

The lighting is not so great, sorry.

Mind you, I have no idea how “correct” this example is… goodness knows so much else on my car is wrong (long story) so I can not assume this is right.

Interesting. Mine looks identical but has the old style bullet
connectors. I suspect yours has been modified but whoever did it was
skilled because it looks like the rivets have not been tampered with.
That’s a better connection IMO than the original.

A few years ago I purchased a replacement map light. What I got was

so poor that it must be the wrong part, so never tried to fit it.
