I have decided to autocross MIK again Sunday.
If anybody in is interested in seeing what it’s all about,
show up at Golden Gate Fields (near Berkeley)
Sunday afternoon, and look for MIK. I can take
passengers on two out of the three runs, so first come
first served. If you want to ride, and have a helmet
(Snell '90 or later, Motorcycle is OK) bring it along, though
it’s possible to get a loaner if we don’t run out.
for details, I run in A Stock (Group 8 – probably around 4PM or later)
If you’re interested, get there early enough to walk the course and see
what that’s all about.

This weekend is the Jaguar Touring Club Spring DustOff, a non-driving, car
admiring, polish and pose event. But I will be there with the Bolide, even
with its dented nose! On Monday, however, it goes to Richie’s Classic (body
shop), whence it should emerge in two weeks (he said one, I’m giving him two)
looking as good as new or better. Then the fun begins in earnest with SCCA
Autocross on 12 May, JCNA Northeast Regional Slalom on the 20th, Lime Rock
Weekend 1 & 2 June, another Autocross on the 9th, and finally Jaguar Touring
Club Slalom on 23 June! So I guess I should just take advantage of the
opportunity to rest this weekend!
