[E-Type] need a horn

I know, these horns are supposed to be adjustable. Well, mine is only
30 years old and it already is broken.
Anyone got a spare horn, right side? Series II, Numbers are:

12v 12.60 (maybe 12.69, can’t tell)
69144D

I am not familiar with Series II E-Types, but have 2 x V12’s. That said,
the tip below is from Russ’ Jaguar V12 E-Type: A Guide to Authenticity:

“If your horns fail to work and you have isolated the problemn to the
horns themselves, don’t throw them away. More than likely water got
inside them and the metal diaphragm has rusted. Around the outside edge
of the horn are some cast rivets. Drill these out with a 3/16” drill and
separate the two halves. With a wire brush clean the diaphragm and with
600 grit sandpaper, polish the points. Reassemble the two halves with
soft rivets or small screws. Thew horns may need re-adjusting before
they will work. The adjustment screw is on top and just has to be moved
a little in either direction."

Even if this doesn’t work, it sounds too simple to NOT try it. (I figure
Jaguar didn’t design a new horn for the Series III)
Hope it works for you.
