[E-Type] Old English white, was rubber seal kit

Thanks to all who replied so quickly re the rubber seal kit!
I’ll let you all know what I end up doing.

Now as far as “boring Old English White” goes, my car was originally
“exciting beige with tan interior” until it had a classic California
respray to “Oh my god that’s sexy metallic Brown/Bronze still with tan
interior”

So even if I painted the car pink it would be an improvement.

Seriously though, this has gotta be the most difficult choice facing
someone doing a ground up rebuild and I’m really struggling to choose.
One minute my wife agrees with me about white then we both switch back
to red then white then red then “how about BRG or that nice dark blue?”

Personally I think that being a 2+2 I need to keep it a light colour so
OEW maw eventually win out.

Now black or blue interior??

cheers
Steve

See, now I think exactly the opposite is true–the larger the car, the
darker a color it needs to look right. The dark blue is a lovely shade.-----Original Message-----

My four pence worth…

I sprayed both my cars the dark blue. My first was originally that
colour then it was resprayed ‘Retail Red’. I returned it to original.
My roadster was originally Primrose but I couldn’t (or wasn’t brave
enough to keep it that colour) so I went for the dark blue again.
Lofty’s car was Dark Blue with a Red Interior. In my opinion the
classiest colour combination.

I once saw a spearmint green FHC. Now that DID look good!–

Gentlemen -

With this endorsement, I will not admit it if I choose to paint my car
Olde English White. In fact, I may just keep it in the garage. ;-))

Cheers.
